इनपुट और आउटपुट डिवाइस कंप्यूटर का एक प्रमुख हिस्सा हैं। वे एक प्रकार के हार्डवेयर डिवाइस हैं जो कंप्यूटर सिस्टम को बनाते हैं। ये बाहरी मदद से सिस्टम को ठीक से काम करने की अनुमति देते हैं। वे दोनों डेटा से निपटते हैं लेकिन अलग-अलग तरीकों से।

हार्डवेयर सिस्टम का एक अन्य महत्वपूर्ण तत्व कंप्यूटर मेमोरी है। यह वह जगह है जहां सभी डेटा अस्थायी या स्थायी रूप से चला जाता है। यह मुख्य रूप से दो प्रकार की होती है- वोलेटाइल मेमोरी और नॉनवोलेटाइल मेमोरी। वोलेटाइल मेमोरी को स्टैटिक रैम या डायनेमिक रैम जैसी सूचनाओं को कार्य करने और स्टोर करने की शक्ति की आवश्यकता होती है।

1. USB Drive – It is a detachable device which can receive data from any computer as well as send out data to other devices. 

2. Modems – It is responsible for transmitting data from one device to another using telephonic lines. 

  3. CD and DVD Drives – Saves data from the computer in the given format and can also send out data to other devices with disk space. 

 4. Headset – It has a speaker which is an output device and a microphone which is an input device. 

              5. Facsimile – This is a fax machine with scanner being an input device and printer being the output device.
